Although spring is still a few months away, it’s time to start stocking up on shimmer eyeshadows and plum-colored lipsticks because the top trends for Spring 2025 are all about shine and bold color. That said, fresh, glowing complexion makeup still took center stage on the runways at fashion weeks in New York, London, Milan, and Paris.

"We focused on this burgundy double eyeliner, top and bottom, leaving a gap between—it’s very '60s, with the double line and lots of mascara. In the waterline, there’s white eyeliner. It’s inspired by the '60s, but I kept it modern," explains Hiromi Ueda, Global Makeup Artist for Armani Beauty. "Sun-kissed cheeks were created using bronzing powder mixed with Rosy Peach cheek tint. The focus was on the eyes, so I kept the lips natural and soft, using Lip Power mixed with Prisma Glass in the center. The combination of textures gave the lips a multi-dimensional, effortless elegance."

Staying with the '60s vibe, Marco Rambaldi showcased pastel eye washes that created a mod effect. The bright lilac eye paint took the spotlight, with models skipping mascara and liner to keep the rest of the face fresh.

Minimalist beauty is always in style, but this season, Spring 2025 brings a more utilitarian take on clean skin. Khaite embraced dewy skin and bold features, including statement brows created by Nars. Celebrity esthetician Danuta Mieloch, founder of Rescue Spa, used her multi-purpose balm, Danucera Cerabalm, to prep, hydrate, and add glow to the skin.

At Brandon Maxwell, Merit Beauty gave models a soft flush on the cheeks and lips by applying a neutral blush to the apples of the cheeks and gently blotting lipstick for a barely-there tint.

When in doubt, a touch of highlighter is all you need for a plump, hydrated complexion. Jason Wu applied highlighter powder just on the tops of the cheekbones for a subtle, natural shine.

At Dior’s Spring/Summer 2025 show, makeup artist Peter Philips told Bazaar he aimed for an "après-sport look" that blends sporty and grunge. He drew the Diorshow On Stage Crayon in 099 Black along the lower lash line, then had models squeeze their eyes shut before blending the liner with his fingers for a messy, carefree finish. To complete the look, Philips applied a neutral blush to the apples of the cheeks for a post-workout flush.

Spring 2025 is the season to try something new—bring a little color and glow into your beauty routine with these stunning trends.
