Olivia Rodrigo and Gracie Abrams are emerging as style icons in their own right, and their latest looks are a nod to a true fashion legend.
On Thursday night, both singers took the stage at FireAid, a benefit concert supporting the rebuilding of communities affected by the recent Los Angeles wildfires. Backstage, the two friends posed together for a photo, each wearing outfits that evoked the effortlessly chic style of Jane Birkin.
Rodrigo gave a modern twist to the French actress's signature look—comprising a simple top, jeans, and heels. The “love is embarrassing” singer’s version included a fitted white T-shirt, high-waisted, dark-blue straight-leg jeans, and cherry-red patent leather Mary Jane shoes.

Meanwhile, Abrams wore a white knit halterneck dress with a scalloped neckline and floral filet lace, reminiscent of Birkin’s sheer crochet styles from the late '60s. She completed her look with stud earrings and black leather flats.

While Rodrigo’s everyday style leans toward Parisian cool-girl vibes, her stage wardrobe exudes pure rockstar energy. For her FireAid performance, Rodrigo swapped her jeans and tee for a lacy black off-the-shoulder top, paired with high-waisted sequined black shorts and fishnet tights. To complete the look, she added knee-high military boots, giving it a rock ‘n’ roll edge.

Rodrigo and Abrams were part of a star-studded lineup at Thursday’s FireAid concert, which also featured performances by Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Stevie Nicks, Katy Perry, and Joni Mitchell.
