Get ready for Mayhem.
After teasing the announcement with a subtle revamp of her website and a series of billboards that mysteriously appeared in New York City and Las Vegas, Lady Gaga officially confirmed the release of her seventh studio album through an Instagram Reel posted on January 27. Titled Mayhem, the album is set to drop this spring. Here’s everything we know so far, from the tracklist to Gaga’s creative process.
Mayhem Drops in March.
Mayhem will be released on March 7 via Interscope Records. The album is already available for pre-order.
14 Tracks to Look Forward To.
The album will feature 14 tracks, including the previously released singles “Disease” and “Die With a Smile,” the latter of which Gaga collaborated on with Bruno Mars.
The Third Single Arrives February 2.
The album’s third single and its accompanying music video will drop on Sunday, February 2, during a commercial break at the 2025 Grammy Awards ceremony. This year, Gaga and Mars’ “Die With a Smile” has been nominated for two Grammy awards: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Song of the Year.
A Long-Awaited Return to Pop.
Mayhem marks Gaga’s much-anticipated return to her pop roots. The album revisits her signature sound but with a new perspective, embracing chaos and transformation.
“The album began as me confronting my fear of returning to the pop music that my earliest fans loved,” Gaga shared in a statement. “I saw my creative process as reassembling a shattered mirror: Even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can still create something beautiful and whole in a new way.”

Key Collaborators.
Michael Polansky, a philanthropic entrepreneur and Gaga’s long-time partner, served as an executive producer for Mayhem, along with Gaga herself and Andrew Watt. Other producers credited on the album include Cirkut and Gesaffelstein.
