Drake and PartyNextDoor's long-awaited album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, has already set a record on Apple Music following its Valentine's Day release.

Released on February 14, the album has broken Apple Music’s record for the biggest R&B/soul album by first-day streams globally.

$ome $exy $ongs 4 U marks Drake’s first full album since 2023’s For All the Dogs, which spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. This also comes after his highly publicized rap feud with Kendrick Lamar, which saw K. Dot take aim at Drake during the Super Bowl Halftime Show on February 9, performing his chart-topping diss track "Not Like Us" in front of over 100 million viewers.

The 21-track album, running 74 minutes, follows PartyNextDoor's P4, released in 2024. Earlier in the week, Drake surprised the Melbourne crowd by bringing out PND during his Anita Max Wynn Tour, teasing the album’s release.

“I’ve got an album dropping on Feb. 14 with my brother PartyNextDoor,” Drake shared with the audience. “It’s called $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, but there are some turned-up tracks and some personal feelings too. Hopefully, whoever you’re with this Valentine’s Day, you can share that experience together.”

Drake also unveiled the cover art, featuring both artists in fur coats in front of the Marilyn Monroe Towers in Canada.

The duo's chemistry has been evident in previous hits like "Come and See Me," "Recognize," "Loyal," "Preach," and "Since Way Back," further solidifying their collaborative success.
