One name you definitely won’t forget after this year’s Grammy Awards? Doechii.

The Florida-born rapper delivered an unforgettable debut performance at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night at Los Angeles’s Crypto.com Arena. She took the stage to perform her breakout hit, “Denial Is a River,” surrounded by a group of dancers, all coordinating in custom Thom Browne suits for the special occasion.

Doechii’s high-energy performance included acrobatic choreography, from casual backflips to being lifted into the air—all while flawlessly continuing to rap.

It’s clear Doechii was riding a wave of celebratory adrenaline throughout the performance. Earlier in the evening, she made history by becoming only the third woman ever to win the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album—a feat previously accomplished by Cardi B and Lauryn Hill.

“I don’t want to make this long, but this category was introduced in 1989, and only two women have won: Lauryn Hill... Wait, three women have won! Lauryn Hill, Cardi B, and Doechii!” she said during her acceptance speech. “I put my heart and soul into this mixtape—I went through so much, and I dedicated myself to sobriety. God told me I would be rewarded and show me just how good it can get.”

With tears in her eyes, she continued, “I know there’s some Black girl—so many Black women—watching me right now. And I want to tell you, you can do it. Anything is possible. Don’t let anyone project any stereotypes onto you.”
